Final number #15

After looking back at those two blog posts i personally dont think i achieved the goals i set up for my self. the reason why i say that is because im not impressed with the some of the work i did in this class i know i could of done way better if i took more time on certain things. i wouldnt change any of my goals because i dont like going back on words but knowing what i know now i would work harder.

i would like to develop on things i started developing on like not waiting for the day before my paper is due to work on it. i also liked the fact that we did peer review that helped me alot with my writing. i think i still need to keep working on building around my foundation give my papers more and more facts and information.

in other words i think i didnt do as good as i think i could do. now i know that i need to start from the get go and work very hard and dont take any time my teachers gives me in class for granted.

#14

for my portfolio I'm going to rewrite the should the obama age drop out analysis paper. the strength of my paper was the introduction i think i worked really good on the intro and i states my thesis very well and i also states my argument. my weakness of my paper i think is that i didnt focus that well on my topic and i didnt fully understand the article i read so i winged it.

to effectively rewrite my paper i must re read the article many times so i can better understand the article and understand what the arthur is talking about. i think once i do that my paper well overall be better because i will have more information to talk about. i will also back up my arguments and make sure that i have information to back up my statements.

Lucky number 13

i have learned a lot about peer review, i'm starting to really think about how it helps me with my papers a lot.

i've learned a lot because in one of my essays the writer had a very good argument but since his tone wasnt affirmative one i wasnt really convinced. i think that he had a great idea and explained his points every well but his tone wasnt the right one, because when you are trying to argue with someone you need to be every affirmative. you want to make sure the person thats reading your paper is scared of you and wont bring up a certain topic with you.

another thing i learned from reading other peoples essays is that in an argument paper you must have a great conclusion. the reason why i say that is because in my eyes when you right a paper you start with a starting a pitcher and then you bring in the relief pitcher and then the closing pitcher is the the concluding paragraph. so the concluding paragraph must be as good as the rest of the paragraphs and also it must restate your argument and give the final blow.

I think my most compelling evidence is that dwayne wade has had the best nba finals performance in nba history.the reason why i say that is because he has had the best stats in the finals and also brought his team back from being 2-0 in a 7 game series and averaging 39 points in the last 4 games to bring his team back to win the championship in only his 3rd year in the nba.

my weakest evidence is that dwayne wade has only won one championship. while the Great Micheal jordan has won it 6 times and also has had memorable performances in the finals. like playing while having a fever and playing with an injury. but i still stand by my choice because Wades performance was amazing because i witnessed him win the 4 games in the row while only being so young in the nba and going up against  the best team in the nba at that time.

Assignment #10

i think peer review helps a lot in the process of writing papers. even though i don't show it in class sometimes i think that it helps a lot because i learn a lot from my peers. one way we can improve peer review is to make it serious is we need to be serious about the whole thing because i can tell you that I'm not always paying attention and so is some other people. i think we have a good amount of time when it comes to peer review its just no one takes it serious. my ideal peer review process is everyone having the papers done when there due so we can grade them and everyone taking it serious.

assignment # 9

my plans for college are to major in justice studies. this class fits perfectly to my major i think. the reason why i say that is because to be a lawyer you need to be able to write a lot of paper to fight for your client. i think this class is the stepping stone to doing that there are many classes to take after this class so i can try to prefect that. but you always need to start at the beginning and this is the class to start at.

Assignment #11

the errors I've noticed that i usually do on each paper are grammatical errors i think this error is something easy that i can fix i just need to be more patient with how quickly i write things.

I've been told by many teachers that i always have a good foundation but i can never completely help hold up my paper. i think once i start to help build my paper more i think i can be a great paper writer.

another error that i tend to due is my conclusion i always find it hard to close out a paper. the reason why i think i mess up on that is because i am tired and already mentally darned that i just give up at the end and i think once i stop doing that i will be ok at that part.

those are three things i need to work on and i am starting to work on them and i think after I've been told so many times to fix these errors I've finally understood that i need to fix them.
